Combat Casualty Simulation

The Department of Defense recognizes and supports the ongoing need for realistic combat casualty simulation training. Utilizing high quality moulage techniques in training better equips military medical response personnel for actual battlefield trauma triage.  Real to the eye injury simulations in moulage increases knowledge and performance in three important areas: training retention, casualty recognition, and rapid reaction time. 

Our deployed military today is faced with increased enemy warfare tactics along with a greater threat of weaponized biochemical agents.  Explosion injuries from IEDs, RPGs, and mortars account for more than half of US ground troop casualties. 

Many studies and trials have proven that accurate and graphic casualty simulations, or moulage, used in medical training scenarios and field training exercises induces a faster and more defined psychosomatic response for triage in actual battlefield theatre operations as well as civilian mass casualty incidents.
