Moulage Hands-On Training Workshops
Our moulage courses have been carefully designed with the guidance of a military and civilian medical advisory counsel on staff with our company. Providing realistic casualty simulation training opportunities directly supports military and civilian medical education and combat medicine with state of the art moulage creation and application techniques.
Moulage workshops are scheduled routinely in the Washington, DC Metro area throughout the year. They can also be scheduled, by contract and prior arrangement, at your location and facilities.
Upon completion of both Basic and Advanced moulage workshops students will possess a strong skill set with complete proficiency in creating a wide variety of real-to-the eye casualty simulations. Their renderings will be visually consistent with battlefield injuries typically found in foreign conflicts as well as civilian mass casualty incidents. These can range in design from minor injuries to critical life threatening wounds and amputations.
"Boot Camp" Basic Workshop: is a highly compressed and intensive two (2) day course designed for the student to immediately stand up a strong knowledge base in moulage appropriate materials along with proficiency in the fundamental concepts, design, composition, and construction of moulage appliances.
"Warfighter" Advanced Workshop: this is also a highly compressed and intensive two (2) day course that takes the fundamental moulage skillset acquired through the Basic Class into more advanced materials, such as silicone, and expanded construction techniques.
Note: each workshop is a complete skill enabled program and independent of each other, however the Boot Camp Basic class is a prerequisite for completion in order to enroll in the Warfighter Advanced class.
